Recently approved State Senate legislation, if passed by the General Assembly, would mandate the creation of a free website where New Jersey taxpayers can track public spending at the local, county and state level. Among the information to be available are: salaries and wages of public employees, amounts of bond debt, contractual vendor purchases, and federal grants received.
